The vehicles also have zero emissions and a solar option that is added locally in Gainesville, FL. While the Electro Transport Buddy 15p LE is the largest vehicle in the fleet that GatorMoto currently offers, a wide range of vehicle sizes and uses is available. Open air vehicles are available for between two and fifteen passengers, and specialty use vehicles such as Utility, Paramedic and Police Buddy’s are available as well. Many models are street legal and come fully loaded with features such as AM/FM CD player, aluminum wheels and high back chairs.
The imported vehicles use several major domestic components. The batteries used to power the vehicles are Trojan Battery Company brand. The controller, which operates the electrical system and manages the speed, is Curtis Instruments brand. Both Trojan Battery Company and Curtis Instruments are American companies with their parts being made in the United States. The battery chargers are made in Canada by Delta-Q Technologies Corp.
